COMPROBE

Comprobe

Comprobes are not beings, although they may appear
as one. They are unique because they use consciousness
as propulsion, instead of combining with it physically
and permanently to become a being. Because Comprobes involve
consciousness, discussion of it is included here.

A Comprobe is the mechanical end or probe of a computer
system accessible to qualified universal computer account holders.
Comprobes take measurements and collect data from physical things
at various locations throughout the universe.

For accurate measurements, software allows Comprobes to
calibrate physically to the gravity and atmosphere of the subject to be
measured. When taking data and measurements at the subject’s site,
the Comprobe occupies physical space. Therefore, when a Comprobe’s
work is complete, it disappears in an instant. A loud noise results as
the atmosphere crashes inward on itself in the space vacated by the
Comprobe.

The Comprobe is the part of the computer system hardware
that accountholders send as a long string of molecular mass. As the
string reaches its subject, the system software sends a timed pulse of
appropriate consciousness to the subject site, resulting in the Comprobe
phasing in at the location to collect data and measurements. When
the Comprobe physically disappears, the consciousness quantity
present in the Comprobe’s mechanical system pulses the data directly
to the user’s universal computer account at the speed of mind.

Users keeping physical mass intact for longer-term data may move
it along the string at the speed of light or add pulses of consciousness
to push data across the string at the speed of mind. Qualified universal
computer account holders may afford Comprobe services, which are
available through the utilities services associated with all universal
computer accounts.
